What Do We Stand For?

something horribly shocking i had to share with you all because it is telling of where this country has been heading for the last 6 years.  thank god for the elections…perhaps we can get our civil and human rights back now.

a ucla student was tase’d last night at powell because he didn’t have his id card and he took too long to leave..the ucpd officers kept yelling at him to stand up after he was tasered but he couldn’t so they did it again and again.

and here’s a video a student took with a phone camera.

turns out the student didn’t look like he was from kansas.  of course his civil rights were violated.  bloody patriot act.

One Response to “What Do We Stand For?”

  1. I’m so happy that I did what I could to bring on Progressive change for the elections. I took part in MoveOn.Org’s Phone banks and knocked on doors.

I also met many elderly people that were having problems adjusting to life. So I kept track of those individuals and made shure that they’d receive hot meals for Thanksgiving. I enjoyed doing that as well. Anyway, because of the election, I was able to help more people long after the elections. I know hope always exists…but it’s wonderful to know that finally the hope this country’s been praying for has arrived.

Geez, I’m taking up space here…sorry! Enjoy the holidays!!!
